Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has instituted a mobile trading app, along with a new way to trade in digital currency.
An official blog post published today outlined the plans to allow users to buy and sell, bitcoin, ethereum , Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and ZCash. The platform shows real-time prices and the total value of individual portfolios.
Users can also set up a recurring buy feature and alerts on price changes within a range. For those who would rather bundle their investment, Gemini has created “The Cryptoverse,” an investment vehicle that bundles coins, based on market cap.
In a Bloomberg interview today, Tyler Winklevoss said the company is comfortable despite the recent market fluctuations.
“We’re totally at home in winter,” said Tyler Winklevoss, in an interview at the company’s headquarters in Manhattan’s Flatiron district.
Winkevoss also told Bloomberg the company is looking to expand to Asia in the new year, and plans a new push to attract retail investors.
“A lot of our decisions have perhaps given off a perception that we’re more institutional-based,” Cameron Winklevoss said. “The reality of the situation is that we have a diverse customer base. And the retail story is just beginning.”
