Mushegh Tovmasyan, a veteran in the foreign exchange (forex) industry, has taken on a new venture – Zenus Bank, a company that specialises in digital banking and forex, which he is the Chairman and Founder of, Finance Magnates has learned.
Tovmasyan actually started this new venture at the beginning of this year back in January, however, he has just made the move public via LinkedIn this Wednesday.

According to his profile, Zenus Bank is: “The First Bank in USA designed for international customers. Zenus makes it easy and safe for everyone to access, send, receive and store money in the United States from anywhere in the world.
“With the latest in digital banking technology and an international banking license Zenus is looking to offer remote account opening for deposits, payments and custody.”
The bank accepts foreign clients and allows individuals and businesses to apply for a multi-currency bank account and debit card remotely, without needing to be a US resident. This is made possible by its “advanced digital banking technologies” the company’s LinkedIn bio states.
Notable Positions Held by Mushegh Tovmasyan
During his career, which spans for more than two decades, Tovmasyan has held a number of notable roles. One of his career highlights includes being the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Divisa Capital and Equiti Group.
As Finance Magnates reported, he officially parted ways with the firm in January of this year. After having relinquished his title as a director about one year previously, Tovmasyan had stayed on with the company as a member of the executive committee of Equiti Group.
Other notable achievements include establishing FXFY (Forexify), a boutique merchant bank in February of 2015. Based in Puerto Rico, Forexify is a seed and venture capital firm predominantly focused on the financial technology space.
Tovmasyan has also held the role of Chief Commerical Officer of Alpari (UK) Ltd, a position he held from July of 2012 until June of 2014. Before this, he was the Global Head of Sales for the Alpari Group for just over two years.
