Madison & Co. focuses on broker support, mentors

Sometimes buying a house is like looking for a needle in a haystack. You know what you want, but finding it among all the straw can be frustrating. That’s why buyers need the agents at a boutique real estate firm like Madison & Co. Properties.

The company, which is named for the street where its founders, Todd Narlinger and Michael Turra, had their first investment property, has six offices in the Denver metro area. Madison & Co. Properties is committed to providing a high-quality experience for buyers, sellers, and its agents.

“Our company prides itself on providing a collaborative team environment with an extensive mentoring program that provides structured training, professional coaching, business planning, and a boutique culture that celebrates young professions as well as embrace family lifestyles,” says Shannon Cruz, director of agent development and operations.

When Cruz joined the company in October, she was impressed by the culture.

“Madison really hits a home run on that end,” she says. “There’s a lot of collaboration. No one is afraid they will say too much. No one is too good to train another broker or give them advice. We’re all in this together to provide the best possible service.”

To do that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has worked to be flexible and recognize that its brokers now have additional demands on their time.

“Everything just shut down. We had brokers who all of a sudden had to also become school teachers,” she says. “We recognized that and are working to adjust to a new way of living and working.”

The company’s brokers also continually work together to discuss new initiatives and create new processes.

“We want to make sure we’re always in front of the game and provide the very best in technology, support and training,” Cruz says.
