Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has been hailed for his tribute to Fernando Ricksen before his side's 1-0 win over Feyenoord.
The Gers gaffer shared a snap, which appeared to have been taken using his phone, of Rangers scarves and flowers laid for the late Dutchman outside Ibrox.
Light Blues hero Ricksen died this week following a brave battle against motor neurone disease.
And paying his respects, Gerrard captioned the photo "RIP Fernando" with blue, white and red colours.
It drew a heartwarming response from Rangers fans.
It also drew warm comments from former teammates Jerzy Dudek, Stephen Warnock and Jose Enrique.
One Gers fan wrote: "Amazing tribute for an amazing character. Pain free now Fernando. Rest easy."
Another said: "Let's keep the momentum going for him gaffer."
