Critics were blown away Wednesday by Tiffany Trump\u2019s decision to write a chirpy happy birthday tweet to her brother Eric Trump as their father\u2019s supporters\u00a0rioted inside the U.S. Capitol\u00a0to stop the course of democracy.<\/p>\n

Earlier, she had retweeted one of her father\u2019s tweets about the protests, writing \u201cPeace above all.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hundreds of rioters stormed the Capitol building after President Donald Trump egged them on to protest his election loss. They aggressively breached the building, its offices and legislative chambers during a joint congressional session to formally certify President-elect Joe Biden\u2019s win.<\/p>\n
One woman was shot during clashes with police and later died.<\/p>\n
Trump\u2019s other children condemned the violence after having already praised the mob that carried it out.<\/p>\n
Calling the GOP the \u201cparty of Law & Order,\u201d Eric Trump called for the prosecution of \u201canyone who crosses that line to the fullest extent of the law.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ivanka Trump had called the protesters \u201cpatriots,\u201d but later deleted the tweet and condemned the violence as \u201cunacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n
Donal Trump Jr. said, \u201cthis is wrong and not who we are.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBe peaceful and use your 1st Amendment rights, but don\u2019t start acting like the other side,\u201d he tweeted.\u00a0\u201cWe have a country to save and this doesn\u2019t help anyone.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
But Tiffany Trump\u2019s missive stood out for its bizarre and inappropriate timing.<\/p>\n
