The\u00a0Duchess of Cambridge celebrated her 39th birthday yesterday \u2013 with a cup of tea.<\/p>\n
While she normally marks the occasion by organising a weekend shooting party for friends at her country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, sources said Kate instead spent a \u2018quiet birthday\u2019 with a tea party organised by Prince William and children George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Queen, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall all sent birthday wishes on their social media channels.<\/p>\n

Kate\u00a0spent a \u2018quiet birthday\u2019 with a tea party organised by Prince William and children George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two<\/p>\n

Taking to Twitter, the official Royal Family Instagram shared two throwback photographs of the duchess and penned: ‘Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very happy birthday today!’ (pictured)<\/p>\n

In one of the snaps, the royal can be seen with Her Majesty during a visit to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019<\/p>\n
The official Royal Family account posted two images of Kate, adding: \u2018Wishing the Duchess of Cambridge a very happy birthday today!\u2019 \u2013 followed by the hashtag #HappyBirthdayHRH.<\/p>\n
In one, Kate is showing the Queen the garden she helped design at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The other features the Duchess in a Scouts woggle to meet Cub and Beaver Scouts in Northolt, West London, last autumn.<\/p>\n
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall also shared a snap of the mother of three and wrote: \u2018Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge!\u2019 alongside a confetti ball emoji.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In their photo, a smiling Kate looks relaxed in a pair of pink \u00a329.50 Marks & Spencer trousers which she wore to meet parents being helped by peer support networks in the pandemic last year.<\/p>\n

Prince William and Kate Middleton are likely to remain at Anmer Hall and resume homeschooling their children Prince George, seven, Prince Louis, two, and Princess Charlotte, five (pictured together in a shot for their 2020 Christmas card)<\/p>\n
On Kate\u2019s own official social media channels, Kensington Palace posted a picture of her wearing a mask, from last month\u2019s Royal Train tour, along with a message of support for the NHS.<\/p>\n
It said: \u2018Birthdays have been very different in recent months, and our thoughts continue to be with all those working on the front line at this hugely challenging time.\u2019<\/p>\n
Kate\u2019s focus over the next couple of months will be home-schooling George and Charlotte and expanding her Early Years initiative, to help the next generation, which she launched last autumn.<\/p>\n
