From Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s Square company purchasing 4,709 bitcoins for $50 million to the world’s richest man Elon Musk adding #Bitcoin to his Twitter bio, the recent fluctuations in the graph of the crypto market has triggered curiosity not just among the crypto audience, but also among non-crypto folks.

Moreover, the obsession of Elon Musk over cryptocurrencies like ‘Dogecoin’ has garnered special interest from the people from vastly different backgrounds. Although there is an uncertainty regarding the reliability of cryptocurrencies among the general public, most of the leading entrepreneurs and businessmen around the world support it. The reason for this doubt and uncertainty is lack of knowledge and awareness among them.

Additionally, much similar to any other industry, Crypto and Blockchain is a world where there is a huge void to be filled by women. Infact, we witness the number of women involved in this sector is lower than that of men. But at its core, this industry isn’t just for “Blockchain Bros”. In fact there are already some women leaders who are making significant impact in every step of their ways – for instance, Elizabeth Stark, the women leader behind Lightning Labs.

Likewise, there is a lot more to be contributed by women to create a balanced ecosystem.

To debunk all such misconceptions and to ensure enough women are involved in this emerging tech, we at Bit2Buzz are organizing one of the biggest crypto and blockchain events called “Women of the Future” to recognize women leading the crypto space on 8th of March, 2021.
