{"id":119820,"date":"2021-04-06T08:14:17","date_gmt":"2021-04-06T08:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=119820"},"modified":"2021-04-06T08:14:17","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T08:14:17","slug":"man-53-admits-causing-death-of-loved-and-adored-schoolgirl-11-after-crash-in-coventry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/world-news\/man-53-admits-causing-death-of-loved-and-adored-schoolgirl-11-after-crash-in-coventry\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 53, admits causing death of &#x27;loved and adored&#x27; schoolgirl, 11, after crash in Coventry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A DRIVER has admitted causing the death of a &quot;loved and adored&quot; schoolgirl in a fatal car crash. <\/p>\n<p>Ola Onubogu, 53, pleaded guilty to killing 11-year-old Isabelle Boshell after knocking her down in a Toyota Verso in Coventry last year. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/NINTCHDBPICT000616825229.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>She was rushed to hospital following the collision on Tamworth Road in October, but she sadly died four days later. <\/p>\n<p>Her heartbroken family said she was &quot;the best daughter anyone could ever have&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Onubogu remained at the scene and was treated for minor injuries. <\/p>\n<p>Police made an arrest at the time, but only announced last month that he had been charged.<\/p>\n<p>Onubogu appeared in court last week where he pleaded guilty to causing Isabelle&#x27;s death by driving without due care and attention.<\/p>\n<p>He will be sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on April 21. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/NINTCHDBPICT000616840061.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>He was also handed an interim driving ban. <\/p>\n<p>Following Isabelle&#x27;s death, her grief-stricken family paid tribute to the schoolgirl. <\/p>\n<p>They said in a statement: &quot;Isabelle was a loving daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter and sister.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;She was loved by her friends, family and adored by her dog and cat whom she loved.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;She meant a lot to everyone and lived life to the full; she loved art, dancing, singing and learning.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;She was learning to play the guitar and was a unique individual who loved to set her own trends.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The best daughter anyone could ever have.
