{"id":121071,"date":"2021-04-14T01:49:07","date_gmt":"2021-04-14T01:49:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=121071"},"modified":"2021-04-14T01:49:07","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T01:49:07","slug":"crack-cocaine-bride-to-be-made-60k-selling-drugs-to-pay-for-her-honeymoon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/world-news\/crack-cocaine-bride-to-be-made-60k-selling-drugs-to-pay-for-her-honeymoon\/","title":{"rendered":"Crack cocaine bride-to-be made \u00a360k selling drugs to pay for her honeymoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A bride-to-be sold crack cocaine and heroin to pay for her honeymoon and made more than \u00a360,000.<\/p>\n<p>Terrie Renwick was set to tie the knot in September last year and intended to pay for her honeymoon with her drug money.<\/p>\n<p>But instead of walking down the aisle towards her betrothed, she faced a judge in court after she was discovered with her arm down a toilet in an attempt to get rid of the evidence.<\/p>\n<p> The 29-ear-old will only have to pay back \u00a3300 of her drug money after a court heard she doesn&apos;t have the means to pay back the huge sum, writes the Liverpool Echo. <\/p>\n<p>Frank Dillon, prosecuting lawyer at last year&apos;s sentencing, said officers raided her home on the morning of July 16.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article23908904.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/2_JS219110067.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>She was on the final day of her licence period for a previous conviction of dealing heroin and cocaine when police turned up.<\/p>\n<p>They found the bride-to-be flushing drugs down her toilet.<\/p>\n<p>A quick-thinking officer traced the drugs through the system and retrieved 220 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin from an external pipe.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Dillon said: &quot;It was clear these items had been flushed down the toilet by Renwick.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>They also found \u00a3125 in her purse, two mobile phones which contained numbers of known class A drug addicts, it was said.<\/p>\n<p>The seized drugs were worth a total of \u00a32,410, but Mr Dillon said the figure amassed by Renwick was much higher.<\/p>\n<p>He told the court on Tuesday, April 13, the total amounts sought in a Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) application was \u00a360,468.98.<\/p>\n<p>He said some of the money was a result of &quot;unexplained bank transfers&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>He added the actual funds available to be confiscated was far less and explained to the court the cash seized at the scene and phones amounted to \u00a3307.96.<\/p>\n<h3>Get latest news headlines delivered free<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/incoming\/article23531014.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615\/0_Screen-Shot-2021-02-19-at-144626.png\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Want all the latest shocking news and views from all over the world straight into your inbox?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We&apos;ve got the best royal scoops, crime dramas and breaking stories &#8211; all delivered in that Daily Star style you love.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our great newsletters will give you all you need to know, from hard news to that bit of glamour you need every day.
