PRINCE Charles hopes to take Prince Harry for a walk around Windsor to look at tributes for the Duke of Edinburgh, it has been reported.<\/p>\n
Prince Harry is said to have faced "frostiness" after returning to the UK for the funeral, and he could return to California soon to be with his pregnant wife.<\/p>\n
Read our\u00a0Prince Philip funeral live blog\u00a0for the latest updates<\/strong><\/p>\n But sources have claimed Charles will take the opportunity of Harry\u2019s time at home for some father-son bonding before he jets off.<\/p>\n Royal insiders told The Mail On Sunday he intends to spend some time with the Duke of Sussex this week.<\/p>\n They said: \u201cThere has been talk that Charles will walk around Windsor with Harry to look at some of the tributes and spend some time together.\u201d<\/p>\n Insiders also said Harry has experienced \u201ca great deal of frostiness\u201d from many of his relatives.<\/p>\n It comes as:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Sources explained: \u201cIronically the only one who has expressed any sympathy towards him is Prince Andrew.<\/p>\n \u201cHe knows from Sarah Fergueson – and now first hand – how it feels to be the outsider, which Harry very much is.<\/p>\n \u201cAs far as the others are concerned, there is a deep sense of protection towards the Queen and resentment towards Harry. There is little sympathy for him after what he and Meghan said on Oprah.\u201d<\/p>\n It comes as Prince Harry was reunited with brother \u00adWilliam for two hours after the Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s funeral \u2014 sparking hopes of peace between them.<\/p>\n Charles had private talks with his warring sons after the\u00a0Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s funeral\u00a0\u2014 and insiders say it is just what Philip would have wanted.<\/p>\n The three met up away from the cameras following Saturday\u2019s televised service.<\/p>\n They remained together for two hours at\u00a0Windsor Castle\u00a0as they mingled with family members on its Quadrangle.<\/p>\n Saturday marked the first time Prince Harry has been seen in the UK since his bombshell interview alongside Meghan Markle.<\/p>\n It is not know when Harry will return to the US, with it initially reported the 36-year-old could return to his LA home in a matter of days.<\/p>\n However it is thought he has an open-ended ticket and could possibly stay in the country for the Queen's birthday on Wednesday.<\/p>\n The monarch will be forced to celebrate her 95th birthday in a small bubble due to Covid safety, but as Harry will be out of isolation by then he would be able to see her outside in the grounds of Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n It comes after an emotional day for the Royal Family unfolded on Saturday as they bid farewell to Prince Philip.<\/p>\n Prince Charles fought back tears on Saturday as he laid his father the Duke of Edinburgh to rest.<\/p>\n The Prince of Wales, 72, led the procession of his father's coffin on the short walk from Windsor Castle to St George's Chapel. Only 30 mourners joined the service due to Covid.<\/p>\n Meghan Markle was one member of the family unable to attend, advised by her doctors not to travel due to her pregnancy. <\/p>\n However the duchess wrote a handwritten message to sit with a wreath left at St George's chapel to honour Prince Philip's decades of service.<\/p>\n She watched the emotional funeral via a live stream, without media commentary, with Archie in LA.<\/p>\n After the funeral, Harry spoke with his brother William, with Kate Middleton said to be the peacemaker between the siblings.<\/p>\n Harry is believed to have returned to Frogmore Cottage after reuniting with William at their grandfather's funeral.<\/p>\n The Duke of Sussex is expected to continue to self isolate after stepping out of his ten day quarantine period for the service at St George's Chapel in Windsor.<\/p>\n The Duke of Sussex arrived from the US on Sunday and is required to quarantine for ten days upon arrival.<\/p>\n He has been self isolating in Frogmore Cottage all week but was allowed to attend his grandfather's funeral on compassionate grounds.<\/p>\n Covid rules state he must continue to self isolate, however, at "all other times".<\/p>\n
