Fans who were watching the broadcast closely noticed … is that famous singer Darius Rucker at No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence's draft party? <\/p>\n

It's unusual, to say the least, to have a more famous figure than the first overall pick hanging out in the background at his draft party. <\/p>\n
And yes, it really was Rucker according to Scott Eisberg of WCIV. Eisberg explained that there was a connection between Lawrence, from Clemson, and Rucker, the Hootie and the Blowfish lead singer who is a well-known South Carolina Gamecocks fan. <\/p>\n
Yes- that is Darius Rucker, two over from Brandon Streeter at Lawrence's house. <\/p>\n

The draft is always interesting, mostly for the trades and strange picks. Having a famous singer photobomb Lawrence's moment when he was drafted, that's a new one. <\/p>\n
