Last year, COVID-19 put a big damper\u00a0on Pride Month festivities, but this season, there\u2019s cause to celebrate in more ways than one\u00a0and many major retailers are getting in on the action.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s customary for Pride-themed merchandise to spike during the month of June\u2014a practice that\u2019s often criticized and compared to pinkwashing\u2014there\u2019s still tremendous value that can come from rocking rainbows during this time of year, as it helps increase visibility and may lend support and encouragement to others within the LGBTQ community who are still exploring their identities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Popular brands like Apple, Fossil, Reebok and others often dedicate huge resources during Pride Month to LGBTQ nonprofit organizations (among them, The Trevor Project, GLSEN\u00a0and additional groups), which means you could be helping others gain access to valuable resources, too.<\/p>\n

Here are 40 places (including small and large businesses) to consider shopping for Pride 2021, and which may help you uncover new ways to celebrate love, diversity and inclusivity during this joyful season.<\/p>\n

Although not tied to purchase sales from the collection, Adidas is actively supporting Athlete Ally, an organization that advocates for LGBTQ inclusion in sports.<\/p>\n

The brand also supports a number of LGBTQ advocacy organizations, including Encircle\u00a0(which offers safe spaces for LGBTQ youth, young adults and families), the National Center for Transgender Equality (which is committed to social justice advocacy for transgender humans)\u00a0and others.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year, Bath & Body Works is donating $1 million to support the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, which is doing work to help the LGBTQ community through a variety of initiatives, aimed at improve transgender rights, promoting workplace equality, and helping children and families.
