Victoria has recorded nine new locally acquired COVID-19 cases and there are now 94 active cases in the state.<\/p>\n
Two cases were found yesterday in an aged care home in Maidstone and are included in today\u2019s official numbers of 11 new cases detected in the 24 hours until midnight.<\/p>\n
There are no new cases in hotel quarantine, more than 24,000 tests were processed and more than 17,000 vaccine doses were administered yesterday.<\/p>\n
Another train line has been added overnight to Victoria\u2019s long list of exposure sites, 354 locations are listed by health authorities.<\/p>\n
The infected case travelled on the Upfield line from Merlynston station to the CBD last week from Wednesday to Friday, at around 6am and 4pm.<\/p>\n
A large construction site in the CBD has also been added as a tier 1 exposure site on Sunday afternoon after a worker tested positive on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Other new exposure sites over the weekend include a high-rise city building, a shopping centre in Melbourne\u2019s north and a wholesaler.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, authorities issued a warning for suburbs in Melbourne\u2019s inner north-west after virus fragments were found in wastewater on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
During the press conference on Sunday, Arcare in Maidstone \u2013 the site of the first aged care cases in the latest outbreak \u2013 released a statement saying that a resident and a nurse had both contracted COVID-19 and staff who worked on Saturday had been instructed to isolate.<\/p>\n
