Aix-en-Provence-based technology provider smartTrade announced on Thursday it has tapped Colin Murphy as its new Chief Revenue Officer. According to the press release, he will handle the company\u2019s global sales teams and drive business growth across its customers\u2019 fronts.<\/p>\n
Murphy, who is based in London, will report to David Vincent, smartTrade\u2019s CEO. Among his tasks include overseeing the revenue-generating activities strategies per the company\u2019s guidelines. The company pointed out that Murphy\u2019s role is a newly created position that aims to strengthen its capacity to enter the subsequent growth phases.<\/p>\n

He will be an important part of the executive team as we focus on corporate strategy and on strengthening our culture of innovation and the continuous enhancement of our customer experience,\u201d Vincent stated about Murphy\u2019s appointment as CRO.<\/p>\n
The new technology provider executive has a 20-year background in capital markets, including having served recently as Global Head of Sales, Optimization for CME Group. According to his LinkedIn profile before his tenure at the firm, Murphy \u2013 who earned a deg worked at Goldman Sachs for over 18 years in several senior management positions, including Managing Director.<\/p>\n
