A man police say killed a 37-year-old woman in a deadly hit-and-run crash in July turned himself in.<\/p>\n
Evan Michael Joslin, 28,was arrested by Aurora police Sunday, according to the Cherry Hills Village Police Department.<\/p>\n
A warrant was issued for Joslin\u2019s arrest in connection with a July 26 crash in Cherry Hills Village that killed Stacy Pepper.<\/p>\n
The crash occurred in the 4000 block of South University Boulevard. Police said at the time that she was struck by a truck that was reported stolen and associated with a burglary.<\/p>\n
Joslin was booked on six charges; vehicular homicide-reckless driving, failed to remain at the scene of an accident involving death, drove vehicle when license revoked-refusal, speeding, failed to notify police of an accident and displayed fictitious number plate.<\/p>\n
Police said the investigation is continuing as they look at the truck, confirming that it was stolen out of Jefferson County and related to a burglary in Arapahoe County.<\/p>\n
Her obituary says the driver crossed three lanes of oncoming traffic and crashed into her head-on.<\/p>\n
Pepper was originally from Colorado, and she was visiting family. She was living in California.<\/p>\n
