{"id":135488,"date":"2021-08-13T13:52:35","date_gmt":"2021-08-13T13:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=135488"},"modified":"2021-08-13T13:52:35","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T13:52:35","slug":"polygon-matic-coin-bureau-says-price-could-easily-reach-5-by-end-of-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/crypto\/polygon-matic-coin-bureau-says-price-could-easily-reach-5-by-end-of-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Polygon ($MATIC): Coin Bureau Says Price \u2018Could Easily\u2019 Reach $5 by End of 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, crypto influencer \u201cCoin Bureau\u201d (\u201c@coinbureau\u201d on Twitter)\u00a0talked about Polygon ($MATIC), which is one of the few cryptoassets that he regrets \u201cnot buying sooner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Polygon is \u201ca protocol and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoglobe.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/2021\/08\/Screenshot-2021-08-13-at-12.47.50-1.png\"><\/p>\n<p>In a\u00a0video\u00a0(titled \u201cTOP Altcoin Picks 2021 Q3\u201d) released on YouTube channel \u201cCoin Bureau\u201c, the show\u2019s pseudonymous host told the channel\u2019s over 1.2 million subscribers\u00a0why he is so bullish on $MATIC and gave his year end price target.<\/p>\n<p>He had this to say about $MATIC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Polygon is \u201cthe preferred layer 2 scaling solution\u201d for Ethereum.<\/li>\n<li>Some of the very popular decentralized applications (Apps) that have built on Polygon include Ave ($AAVE), Decentraland ($LAND), and SushiSwap ($SUSHI).<\/li>\n<li>Its 300+ DApps hold over $9 billion in total value locked (TVL).<\/li>\n<li>Both Coinbase and Binance have recently completed Polygon wallet integration.<\/li>\n<li>Number of active users (which is growing very rapidly) is more than that for some layer one (L1) blockchains.<\/li>\n<li>$MATIC not only powers the Polygon blockchain but it is important for Polygon\u2019s expanding set of layer two (L2) blockchains for Ethereum.<\/li>\n<li>Since the start of 2021, $MATIC has had \u201ca magnificent run.\u201d Although the crypto market crash in the second half of Q2 2021 brought the $MATIC price down from its all-time high (ATH) of $2.44 (reached on May 18), with \u201cmass adoption\u201d, the price of this cryptoasset has a \u201crealistic\u201d chance of hitting $5 by the end of this year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=UK3PAEAfIfE%3Ffeature%3Doembed<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday (August 12), next-gen banking platform Cash announced that it is planning to come to Polygon.<\/p>\n<p>According to data by Trading View, on crypto exchange Coinbase, currently (as of 12:10 UTC on August 13), MATIC-USD is trading at $1.4123.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoglobe.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/2021\/08\/TV-Chart-Coinbase-MATICUSD-1-day-13-Aug-2021-1-1280x728.png\"><\/p>\n<h2><strong>DISCLAIMER<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><em>The views and opinions expressed by the author, or any people mentioned in this article, are for informational purposes only, and they do not constitute financial, investment, or other advice.
