According to the firm, the reason for removal was a complaint from PayPal concerning an alleged trademark issue.<\/p>\n<p>TokenPocket said that it had received communications from PayPal over the dispute with the company\u2019s trademark in a letter earlier this year. TokenPocket stressed that it is willing to resolve the issue in a friendly way and that PayPal \u201chas no more replies to this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe attach great importance to this and dispatched professionals to conduct research on both sides\u2019 trademarks, sorting out, and communicating in detail in the form of pictures and texts to explain the differences on both sides\u2019 trademarks,\u201d the company wrote.<\/p>\n<p>TokenPocket did not explicitly mention the exact reason for the complaint. Online users previously noticed that TokenPocket\u2019s logo looked similar to PayPal\u2019s, as it had two similar-colored letters placed next to each other. \u201cI was about to open TokenPocket but accidentally click Paypal,\u201d a Reddit user claimed three months ago.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-11\/c7dcda4c-1277-483f-a137-71bb54b469d7.png\"><\/p>\n<p>PayPal and TokenPocket did not immediately respond to Cointelegraph\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2018, TokenPocket is a crypto wallet provider supporting major public blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, the Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, Kusama and others.
