In a recent video, Guy told his YouTube channel\u2019s 1.6 million subscribers that $FTM has \u201ca lot more room to the upside,\u201d despite the price surge it has seen this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Guy called Fantom\u2019s medium sized market capitalization attractive for new investors and said the project\u2019s fundamentals are \u201csignificantly stronger\u201d than other cryptoassets on the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As reported by The Daily Hodl, Guy stated,\u00a0<\/p>\n
FTM\u2019s tokenomics are also seriously robust. All FTM coins allocated to Fantom\u2019s early investors, founders and advisers finished vesting last November.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Guy went on to explain the network\u2019s minting process, saying that all new $FTM coins coming to the market are being generated as staking rewards. The host said the continued minting would introduce a \u201csmall amount of sell pressure\u201d that would be easily offset by demand coming from the platform\u2019s userbase and investors.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Coin Bureau\u2019s host also noted that the Fantom Foundation offers a massive developer fund, with funds being vested to devs monthly over the course of one year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to Guy, more than half of Fantom\u2019s circulating supply is being staked:<\/p>\n
And I\u2019m sure most of it is being staked for more than the bare minimum. This reduction in available supply further increases FTM\u2019s ability to fly.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Guy predicted FTM would gain 100% to 200% before the end of the bull market and that it was \u201cvery possible\u201d $FTM could pump higher.\u00a0<\/p>\n
