Glauber Contessoto, a Dogecoin investor famous for investing his $250,000 life savings in the meme-inspired cryptocurrency in early February to become a millionaire, is now betting on rival meme-inspired cryptocurrency Floki Inu ($FLOKI) according to a new interview.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Benzinga, Contessoto revealed that he bought $125,000 worth of FLOKI tokens, which allowed him to amass 500 million tokens. While his portfolio is still mostly focusing on Dogecoin with 900 million tokens in it, his second-largest investment is now FLOKI.<\/p>\n
The crypto millionaire told the news outlet he will \u201ccontinue buying Floki\u201d with the goal of reaching one billion tokens in the future, which would imply a further $100,000 in investment. His strategy, he said, will involve buying dips of both FLOKI and DOGE.<\/p>\n
Looking into the future, the Dogecoin millionaire noted that depending on the markets \u201cFLOKI might take a few more dips before its meteoric rise.\u201d That meteoric rise, he said, will be fueled by Floki Inu\u2019s videogame project, which will include non-fungible tokens and play-to-earn mechanisms.<\/p>\n
Contessoto also pointed to Floki Inu\u2019s massive global ad campaign as a bullish indicator. As CryptoGlobe reported, the team behind the cryptocurrency launched a \u201csuper aggressive\u201d ad campaign in Israel set to run for one month.<\/p>\n
In a tweet published by the main account associated with the meme-inspired project, a video claiming \u201cFloki is coming to Israel\u201d details that ads will be featured in the country on \u201c8 premium walls\u201d as well as \u201c180 billboards & signs\u201d in Israel\u2019s \u201c20 most important cities.\u201d<\/p>\n
Floki Inu launched earlier a \u00a0campaign on London\u2019s public transport system\u00a0with the slogan \u201cMissed Doge? Get Floki\u201d in a bid to \u201clegitimize\u201d the cryptocurrency and increase the \u201cconfidence of the average consumer\u201d to buy it, according to the project\u2019s head of marketing, which went by Sabre.<\/p>\n
Floki Inu\u2019s advertising budget comes from a 4% fee imposed on new buyers. The tokens are used for \u201conboarding influencers\u201d and to \u201cfurther develop and grow the Floki ecosystem.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
