What should we do then? How do we invest in our future, wisely? Our support should be given to causes that can both benefit us financially, but at the same time, that follow the principles of sustainability; for the benefit of a better tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n Planting trees is touted as one of the most important responses to climate change. During the process of photosynthesis trees metabolise carbon dioxide and release oxygen. It is estimated that we need 1.5 million hectares of additional woodland to help reach net zero carbon. It is a sizable number; but every little helps.
