Moment furious Polish chess master falls off his chair after blunder costs him match<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pawel Teclaf, 18 from Poland fell off a chair as he made a losing move in chess\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>He blundered in a World Blitz Championship match against\u00a0Tigran Petrosian\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The hilarious clip shows Mr Teclaf get up straight away and offer a handshake\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is the moment a chess player realised he had made a move which cost him a match and became so furious he fell off his chair.<\/p>\n<p>With less than ten seconds to make his play, Pawel Teclaf, 18 from Poland lost to Tigran Petrosian, 37, from Armenia in a\u00a0World Blitz Championship match at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland on December 29.<\/p>\n<p>A hilarious clip shows Mr Teclaf, playing white, make his final move of the game and as soon as his opponent counters, dramatically recline back in his chair and fall back as he swears in Polish.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2021\/12\/31\/10\/52403957-10358087-image-a-5_1640947642731.jpg\" height=\"381\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Pawel Teclaf, 18 from Poland loses to Tigran Petrosian, 37, from Armenia in a World Blitz Championship match\u00a0at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland<\/p>\n<p>Mr\u00a0Petrosian reached out for him, but Mr Teclaf collapsed on the floor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He quickly stood up, and then proceeded to give his opponent a handshake.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Teclaf, an International Master, in a later interview confirmed he was feeling OK after the fall, and simply &#8216;lost balance&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8216;I usually swing on the chair because I just like it, but this is the first time I just fell down.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I just lost balance and fell down, he (Mr Petrosian) tried to help me up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I just stood up fast. Yesterday I was very angry but I look back at the video and it&#8217;s very funny.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I was completely winning but we had maximum ten seconds on the clock. I managed to screw it up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I just wanted to finish the day.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The clip, which has gone viral, was shared to YouTube channel SpeedChess and now has more than 30,000 views.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2021\/12\/31\/10\/52403945-10358087-image-a-4_1640947632081.jpg\" height=\"381\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Mr Teclaf, an International Master, leans back in his chair in frustration and loses balance as he falls<\/p>\n<p>It also has 702 comments, some remarking at the fact that Mr Teclaf could potentially have been injured in a sport not known for its physicality.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Om Kale said: &#8216;This is officially the first chess win by knockout.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>John Kervin added: &#8216;Anyone who thinks chess players are not athletes refer them to this clip.
