<\/p>\nA dog who went missing from her owners three years ago has miraculously been reunited with them after being found in a strangers garden over 1,100 miles away. <\/p>\n
Katrina and Mark Skelton, of Sugar Land, Texas, USA were left devastated after their precious pet Daisy disappeared from their family home. <\/p>\n
The pooch was a mere 12 weeks old before they had their first child Jackson and supported the couple through both of their pregnancies.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was our first baby! She was the best dog ever," Katrina shared on Facebook.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was gentle, loving, and patient. She was with us through 2 pregnancies, 2 toddlers, and 3 different homes. We were heartbroken when we lost her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple said they would check the microchip website from time to time, to see if there had been any updates but they never had any luck, reports The Western Journal.<\/p>\n
Until one day, at the start of the new year, Tiffany Clay discovered Daisy at the door of her back yard and took her to the vets to be microchipped and contacted the couple.<\/p>\n
The Skeltons hopes had become true and set their sights on Marion, Indiana, to retrieve their dog who had travelled hundreds of miles away from home.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast Tuesday, we got a phone call from Taylor and Tiffany stating that they found our dog all the way in Marion, Indiana,\u201d Katrina told WXIN-TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cMark and I immediately were like, \u2018Okay, we\u2019re going to Indiana this weekend, like, find a babysitter for our kids, and we\u2019re making 16-hour drive to go get our dog because she was our first baby.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had her before we even had kids, so we\u2019ve missed her a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n
Finally, the couple were reunited with their adorable pup who soon realised who the pair was after she settled down from being overwhelmed.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce the chaos settled and she got comfortable, she started to really recognise who we were!\u201d the mum said in another post.<\/p>\n
\u201cMark took his hat off, and it was like a light clicked. She started barking in excitement and snuggling us.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pair have since travelled back to Texas and showed Daisy to their children following a three-year late introduction.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt means everything to us so that they can be happy, because I\u2019d want someone to bring my dog back,\u201d Clay commented on reuniting them back with the dog.<\/p>\n
