A FAMILY has called off search parties for their daughter after being stalked and harassed by conspiracy theorists claiming she was "sold off."<\/p>\n

Lina Sardar Khil's family has had to stop public search parties after being targeted by conspiracy theorists.<\/p>\n

Khil, 3, is believed to have been abducted from a playground in San Antonio, Texas on December 20, reports Fox News. <\/p>\n

People online have baselessly deemed her parents, Riaz and Zarmeena Sardar Khil,as suspects in the case even though authorities have said there are no suspects at this time.<\/p>\n

Some theories claim Lina was "sold as a child bride," while others say the family is keeping her captive, according to the San Antonio Express News.<\/p>\n

One man was arested after he repeatedly visited the family's home and pounded on the door calling out for the girl. He was released and returned to the home. <\/p>\n

Riaz was able to stand his ground and scare the man away for good. <\/p>\n

Pam Allen, CEO of Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach, visits the family every week. <\/p>\n

She said people stalk the family during search parties, taking pictures and videos while coming up with conspiracy theories about the girl's disappearance. <\/p>\n

"Things directed at them because they're Afghani and because they're Muslim. That's harsh," Allen explained. <\/p>\n
