Ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration today, a Royal expert has claimed the firm should give Prince Harry a 'blank cheque' to stop him from writing his tell-all memoir about the family.

Harry and Meghan arrived back in the UK yesterday to take part in the fun, however, tensions since Megxit in 2020 and the Oprah interview a year later have reportedly not cooled entirely.

And Royal expert and author Tina Brown has now warned that the main priority of the damaged firm should be for Harry to agree to take his potentially damaging memoir off the table.

Speaking in the Times: "Somebody needs to go to Harry and try saying, 'We're going to give you a cheque for whatever fee you've negotiated for the book and, in return, we ask that you don't do it."'

Speaking to The Times this year spokeswoman for the publishers, Penguin Random House said it did not yet have a publication date whilst Harry's spokeswoman gave a similar response and another source said there was “some uncertainty” over the book’s publication date.
