nearly two months after he filmed himself crashing her California wedding\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dressed in a white prison jumpsuit, Jason Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears and her first husband, appeared for a pretrial hearing in Ventura County<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The pretrial hearing saw Alexander &#8211; who has been in jail since his arrest on June 9 &#8211; read the litany of charges he is facing for the ill-thought out infiltration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>They include felony stalking, as well as misdemeanor\u00a0offenses for refusing to leave private property, vandalism, and battery<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Alexander &#8211; who was wed to Spears for two days in 2004 before the marriage was annulled &#8211; faces up to five years in prison if convicted<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Britney Spears\u2019 embattled ex-husband made an appearance in court Tuesday &#8211; nearly two months after he filmed himself\u00a0crashing her California wedding while armed with a knife.<\/p>\n<p>Dressed in a white prison jumpsuit with a mane of messy hair, Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears&#8217; and her first husband, appeared virtually before a judge in\u00a0Ventura County for a pretrial hearing.<\/p>\n<p>The proceedings saw Alexander\u00a0&#8211; who has been in jail since his arrest on June 9 &#8211; read the litany of charges he is facing for the ill-thought out infiltration, which include\u00a0felony stalking,\u00a0refusing to leave private property, vandalism, and battery.<\/p>\n<p>Having grown a mane of messy during his nearly two months of incarceration, Alexander, 40, appeared somewhat anxious and even somber at times during the proceedings, seated upright in a tense position as he appeared before the judge.<\/p>\n<p>The hearing comes two months after Alexander &#8211; whose Instagram livestream of the ultimately unsuccessful attempt was cut as he was tackled and restrained by security &#8211;\u00a0 pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander\u2019s next court date is scheduled for August 15, for trial preparation, as he remains in jail on $100,000 bail for storming the Sherman Oaks wedding &#8211; where his ex wed her 28-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari.<\/p>\n<p>Spears, 40, and Alexander &#8211; who lives in Spears&#8217; native Tennessee &#8211;\u00a0 married in 2004 in Las Vegas, but the marriage was annulled after only 55 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He faces up to five years in prison if convicted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2022\/08\/03\/01\/61003743-11075031-image-a-10_1659487115926.jpg\" height=\"389\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Dressed in a white prison jumpsuit, Jason Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears and her first husband, appeared for a pretrial hearing in Ventura County\u00a0after his arrest for crashing her California wedding &#8211; wedding was dramatically interrupted by first husband Alexander in June, who had to be restrained after he showed up trying to crash the event<\/p>\n<p>The attack allegedly saw Alexander &#8211; who grew up with Spears in Louisiana &#8211; enter Spears&#8217; mansion with a knife and attempt to gain entry to her bed.<\/p>\n<p>In footage he posted to Instagram, Alexander could be seen inside the megastar\u2019s manse, with the Tennessee native even taking video of a backyard tent where the nuptials were to be held.<\/p>\n<p>The livestream also showed a confrontation between Alexander and event security where he falsely claimed he\u2019d been invited to the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Cops said he gained entry\u00a0<span>the fairytale ceremony &#8211; whose star-studded guest list included names like\u00a0<\/span><span>Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez,\u00a0Madonna, and Drew Barrymore &#8211;<\/span><span>\u00a0by scaling a fence into the exclusive gated community where Spears&#8217; home is situated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He then climbed down a rocky slope to get on to the blonde singer\u2019s 20-acre property.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Running toward Spears\u2019 12,464-square-foot Italian-style villa while capturing it on his cellphone camera, he screamed: &#8216;I&#8217;m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I&#8217;m here to crash the wedding.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2022\/06\/14\/02\/59037335-10913537-image-a-10_1655171936414.jpg\" height=\"579\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Spears, 40, and Alexander &#8211; who grew up with Spears in Louisiana &#8211; married in 2004 at a 4am ceremony in Las Vegas, but the marriage was annulled after only 55 hours. He was arrested and pleaded not guilty to trespassing, battery and other charges. He is being held on $100,000 bail and faces five years in prison<\/p>\n<p>He would then enter the wedding tent where the nuptials were soon to be held, shouting: &#8216;She&#8217;s my first wife, she&#8217;s my only wife.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>After fighting with Britney\u2019s security guards, he was wrestled to the ground and later arrested &#8211; an altercation a guest was able to capture on his own cellphone camera.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the attack, Spears was granted a restraining order against her former beau, after she and Asghari told cops that Alexander was carrying a knife when he was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>One of Britney&#8217;s security team also said Alexander entered had tried &#8216;multiple times&#8217; when he trespassed on the singer&#8217;s $7million California property\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2022\/08\/03\/00\/58893959-10913537-At_one_stage_Alexander_entered_the_wedding_tent_that_had_been_er-a-5_1659483265843.jpg\" height=\"550\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2022\/08\/03\/00\/58893971-10913537-Security_personnel_were_never_far_behind-a-9_1659483266889.jpg\" height=\"550\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>At one stage, Alexander entered the wedding tent that had been erected for the Spears&#8217;s nuptials (left) but security personnel were never far behind (right)<\/p>\n<p>One of the security guards involved in the incident was also granted a restraining order against Alexander.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following his arrest, a judge ordered that he would not be allowed \u2018to contact, annoy, harass,\u2019 Spears and her new husband, a personal trainer from Iran, and not to come within 100 yards of them for the next three years.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander also faces a special enhancement accusation which he denied earlier this month as he pleaded not guilty for the other offenses, as he was on probation for an unrelated case out of Tennessee at the time of his alleged crimes in California.<\/p>\n<p>He denied the special charge allegation during that arraignment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2022\/08\/03\/02\/60240289-11075031-Not_invited_The_Toxic_hitmaker_s_ex_who_allegedly_breaking_into_-a-13_1659491089401.jpg\" height=\"742\" width=\"632\"><\/p>\n<p>Not invited:\u00a0The Toxic hitmaker&#8217;s ex &#8211;
