{"id":164697,"date":"2022-10-02T17:37:13","date_gmt":"2022-10-02T17:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=164697"},"modified":"2022-10-02T17:37:13","modified_gmt":"2022-10-02T17:37:13","slug":"ada-there-are-currently-1113-projects-building-on-cardano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/crypto\/ada-there-are-currently-1113-projects-building-on-cardano\/","title":{"rendered":"$ADA: There Are Currently 1,113 Projects Building on Cardano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As of Friday (September 30), there are 1,113 projects powered by Cardano, but that\u2019s just the tip of the iceberg as fr as good news you will hearing about in this article.<\/p>\n<p>As Olga Hryniuk, who works in the Marketing and Communications department of\u00a0IO Global\u00a0(IOG), the blockchain technology firm responsible for the development of Cardano ($ADA),\u00a0reported on September 30 in her company\u2019s latest Cardano Weekly Report, there are currently (as of the date of the report) 100 projects launched on Cardano, 1,113 projects building on Cardano, 6.1 million tokens, and 3,307 Plutus scripts; also, there have so far been over 50.3 million transactions. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoglobe.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/2022\/10\/Screenshot-2022-10-02-at-18.01.44.png\"><\/p>\n<p>On September 22, Input Output Global (\u201cIOG\u201d), the blockchain technology company behind Cardano\u2019s R&#038;D, announce that at 9:44 p.m. UTC on that day IOG and Cardano Foundation successfully hard forked the Cardano mainnet via the Vasil hard for combinator (HFC) event, thereby bringing \u201csignificant performance &#038; capability enhancements\u201d to Cardano. They also mentioned that \u201con September 27, at the start of the new epoch, the new Plutus V2 cost model will be active on the chain, thus opening up full\u00a0#Vasil\u00a0functionality for the developer community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then, on September 27, IOG announced that Vasil\u2019s new features and enhancements (including node &#038; CLI support for reference inputs, inline datums, reference scripts) as well a the Plutus V2 cost model had just become available on the Cardano mainnet. They also mentioned that \u201cearly reports from DApp developers are very promising.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the reports\u00a0was from Cardano-powered NFT marketplace Artano.
