It comes after McDonald\u2019s confirmed it was introducing adult Happy Meals to its menu, offering older customers the chance to purchase the child-favourite box.<\/p>\n

Naturally, customers in the UK wanted a piece of the action but they are in for a disappointing update from the food giant.<\/p>\n

Technically, the adult Happy Meal is the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box after the food chain partnered with streetwear brand called Cactus Plant Flea Market.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the company wrote: \u201cEveryone remembers their first Happy Meal\u00ae as a kid… and the can\u2019t-sit-still feeling as you dug in to see what was inside.<\/p>\n

"That little red box could turn a regular Tuesday into the best. day. ever. And now, we\u2019re reimagining that experience in a whole new way \u2014 this time, for adults."<\/p>\n

The adult Happy Meal comes with either a Big Mac or 10-piece nuggets, fries and drink.<\/p>\n

You'll also get a nostalgia-fuelled toy of either Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie or Cactus Buddy.<\/p>\n

Are McDonald's adult Happy Meals available in the UK?<\/h3>\n

No, McDonald\u2019s UK will not be rolling out the adult Happy Meals in the country, with bosses recently confirming the news.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the company said: "We have no plans to roll this out in the UK."<\/p>\n

Naturally, social media reactions poured in, with many disappointed over the recent news.<\/p>\n

One Twitter user wrote: \u201cWhy isn\u2019t the UK getting the adult Happy Meal? @McDonaldsUK explain yourself #McDonalds #UK.\u201d<\/p>\n
