Sign up to the Daily Star&#8217;s newsletter<\/p>\n<p>We have more newsletters<\/p>\n<p>A glamorous geoscientist who spends her time modelling and researching crocodiles and poisonous toads says she was left \u201cswooning\u201d after the Daily Star compared her to Lara Croft.<\/p>\n<p>Stunning scientist Rosie Moore has earned herself a huge following on Instagram for her fascinating posts with animals including snakes and sharks.<\/p>\n<p>The researcher \u2013 who has been dubbed &quot;the world&apos;s hottest geoscientist&quot; for her poses \u2013 selflessly takes the time to respond to the many messages from motivated girls inspired by her changing perceptions of women in science.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: <\/b><b>Crocodile branded &apos;lucky&apos; as stunning scientist grips jaw and tail with bare hands<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Alongside her brave commitment to researching dangerous wildlife, she has been compared to fictional action woman Lara Croft \u2013 something that Rosie, 26, is buzzing about.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article28842097.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/1_Screenshot_120.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>She admitted the comparison had her \u201cswooning\u201d and told the Daily Star: \u201cI was always obsessed with Lara Croft as a kid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s a brilliant, athletic adventurer, so to be compared to her is a huge compliment!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But whilst iconic Lara Croft was known to use her gun to shoot endangered animals including wolves, bats, bears and gorillas, Rosie has instead swapped the pistols for a heart-warming persistence to help.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article28842114.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/3_CD6743505.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article28840128.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_Greta-Thunburg-destroys-Andrew-Tate-with-pizza-box-tweet-after-stars-arrest-in-Romania.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Greta Thunberg destroys Andrew Tate with pizza box tweet after his &apos;arrest in Romania&apos;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Her career has seen her brave a variety of scenarios, including freediving with sharks and even running from a crocodile defending its hatchlings.<\/p>\n<p>The Missouri native who now lives and works in Florida, US, was forced to flee from the angry beast after she checked up on its youngsters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article28842102.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/2_unknown_315436462_2313701735469293_5895253296249902578_n.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/incoming\/article28840510.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_livermain2.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> &apos;Liver King&apos; sued for \u00a322m after admitting &apos;natural&apos; look is down to steroids<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although impressive Rosie boasts an incredible CV with her science work alone, she decided to dip her foot in modelling too after being asked to pose for pictures with sharks.<\/p>\n<p>She explained: \u201cI started modelling for companies that wanted freedive models to pose with sharks. The duality of the two careers seems to shock many people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Whilst science and modelling isn\u2019t the most obvious career partnership, Rosie says her commitment to the two leaves most people swooning themselves.<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cThe reactions have been overwhelmingly positive.
