{"id":170697,"date":"2023-02-08T09:48:12","date_gmt":"2023-02-08T09:48:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=170697"},"modified":"2023-02-08T09:48:12","modified_gmt":"2023-02-08T09:48:12","slug":"naked-woman-52-who-kicked-police-officer-in-the-groin-is-sentenced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/world-news\/naked-woman-52-who-kicked-police-officer-in-the-groin-is-sentenced\/","title":{"rendered":"Naked woman, 52, who kicked police officer in the groin is sentenced"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Naked woman who kicked a policeman in the crotch after he tried to cover her modesty with a hi-vis jacket is handed 12-month community order<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Andrea Wymer, 52, was caught running nude through woodland near\u00a0Knowsley<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>She was having a medical episode when she kicked PC Kieran Moran in the groin<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A naked woman caught running through the woods kicked a police officer in the testicles after he tried to cover her with his jacket, a court has heard.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Wymer, 52, left PC Kieran Moran wincing in agony after she lashed out at him when he and colleagues apprehended her.<\/p>\n<p>During the incident shortly before the afternoon school run, PC Moran who was with a female colleague had offered Wymer their coat in a bid to &#8216;preserve her dignity.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>But she refused and instead she kicked out and caught the male officer in the groin as they restrained her.<\/p>\n<p>Tests later showed mud from Wymers bare feet still on the crotch of PC Moran&#8217;s trousers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/02\/08\/08\/67453281-11726203-image-a-14_1675845169389.jpg\" height=\"1062\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Andrea Wymer lashed out and kicked a police officer in the groin after she was caught running nude through the woods near Merseyside\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wymer, from Huyton, near Liverpool, was said to have been suffering from a &#8216;medical episode&#8217; at the time of the offence.<\/p>\n<p>At Sefton Magistrates&#8217; Court she was ordered to pay PC Moran \u00a3100 compensation after she admitted assaulting an emergency worker.<\/p>\n<p>Michael O&#8217;Kane, prosecuting, said officers responded to reports of a nude woman in the Knowsley area of Merseyside at around 2.45pm on June 2 of last year.<\/p>\n<p>Mr O&#8217;Kane said the defendant &#8216;dismissed&#8217; an offer by PC Moran&#8217;s female colleague for a jacket to cover her, as the 52-year-old streaker tried to walk past other officers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She was stopped by the officers and advised that she was going to be detained,&#8217; Mr O&#8217;Kane told the court. &#8216;At that point she became irate and was resisting the officers&#8217; attempts to restrain her. The incident was caught on a body-worn camera.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As the officers took hold of the defendant she seemed to fall back. At that point she kicked out and made contact with the groin area of the officer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The officer confirms in his statement that being kicked in the groin caused him some pain. The groin area of his trousers was dirty from dirt on the defendant&#8217;s foot. She had been walking barefoot in a wooded area.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;In relation to the guidelines, the defendant used her foot. However, there&#8217;s a suggestion that perhaps there is lesser culpability given the the episode the defendant was suffering from at that particular time.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/02\/08\/08\/67453283-11726203-image-m-25_1675845366243.jpg\" height=\"1169\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The 52-year-old, from Huyton near Liverpool, had been suffering from a medical episode when she was found running nude, a court heard. Her lawyer Joseph Bleasedale said a mental health treatment plan would address the &#8216;underlying issues&#8217; which she had &#8216;never had assistance with before&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8216;Since then, she has seen a psychiatrist and is now medicated for that. She came across as knowledgeable and personable today.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>District Judge James Hatton sentenced Wymer to a 12-month community order with 20 rehabilitation days and a six-month mental health treatment requirement.
