Storm Otto has caused a whirlwind of travel chaos and left thousands of Brits without power.<\/p>\n

Thousands of homes have been left without power in the northern parts of the country, with parts of Scotland recording windswept speeds of 120mph.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the UK, airports are grounding flights and rail services are warning of delays to travel as the Met Office warn that the recent weather warning on Storm Otto is a "danger to life".<\/p>\n

Two yellow warnings had been issued by the Met, where "severe gales" were warned of, and the severity has since been shown, with devastating travel troubles.<\/p>\n

Buses were spotted crashed off the side of the road, trampolines were thrown into the gardens of neighbouring houses and storm damage began causing havoc for Leeds Bradford airport.<\/p>\n

Two lorries had reportedly toppled over on the A1(M) between Leeming and Catterick while a Ryanair plane had been blown sideways on take off from Leeds Bradford airport, Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n

At least five flights from the airport were cancelled by 9am this morning, with delays expected for flights and rail travel due to the heavy winds.<\/p>\n

One particular delay hit National Rail services, with a trampoline thrown onto the tracks by the wind, with teams seemingly on standby to remove debris.<\/p>\n
