A baby boy has become so big that he weighs the same as an eight-year-old and has to wear his father’s clothes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Muhammad Kenzi Alfaro is only 16 months old but weighs a whopping 60lbs – and wears nappies in size XXXL.\u00a0<\/p>\n
An average baby his age weighs around a third of his size, at 22lbs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A video filmed at his home in Bandung Regency, Indonesia, shows his mother Patriah laughing as she\u00a0struggles to push him into an upright position.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kenzi wears a green T-shirt with the number 2 on – which appears a couple of sizes too small – as the child is eventually heaved onto his feet for a split second.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He eats snacks and plays with his toys as his family gathers around him in a team effort to look after him.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The footage also zooms in on his swollen hands and feet as his mother tries to pull his T-shirt down.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pitriah explained the difficulty of the situation – as Kenzi doesn’t fit in his pushchair anymore but his parents find it hard to lift him up and he can’t support himself.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kenzi weighed 10 pounds at birth – which is large, but not usually a cause for concern as most come in at between five and eight pounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She said: ‘His father’s body is also small. His father’s clothes just fit him, sometimes they are also worn on my son,’ The Sun reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She also described the difficulty to find him nappies of the right size, saying: ‘So I put on the double XL, I also bought the one in the shop, but the triple XL in the shop doesn’t exist.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
But in the past year he has grown in size to the extent he needs regular medical care and visits.\u00a0<\/p>\n
His parents and doctors have wondered if he has an underlying health condition due to his rapid increase in size.\u00a0<\/p>\n
They are awaiting final results after he had tests at the Hermina Bekasi Hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said officials were monitoring Kenzi.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
