{"id":172438,"date":"2023-03-15T09:12:55","date_gmt":"2023-03-15T09:12:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=172438"},"modified":"2023-03-15T09:12:55","modified_gmt":"2023-03-15T09:12:55","slug":"weirdo-attacking-cats-and-shaving-defenceless-moggies-leaving-locals-baffled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/world-news\/weirdo-attacking-cats-and-shaving-defenceless-moggies-leaving-locals-baffled\/","title":{"rendered":"Weirdo attacking cats and shaving defenceless moggies leaving locals baffled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A mystery cat shaver is going around Kent and taking patches of fur out of poor felines in a bizarre spree of mischief.<\/p>\n<p> The problem has become so bad that animal charity Animals Lost and Found have set up a map detailing every attack committed by the follicle freak that is being updated every day. <\/p>\n<p>The first attack was reported just before Christmas and there are no signs that the attacker is slowing down.<\/p>\n<p>The first victim, a tabby belonging to Victoria Griffiths, from Walderslade, came back from his adventures with a large bald patch.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: <\/b><b>Dead Russian soldiers &apos;left to become dog food in Ukrainian streets&apos; as invasion failed<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article29461662.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/2_phantom-cat-sha-976334.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The 10-year-old moggy returned home with a huge, strangely-shaped patch of fur cut away, leaving his bare skin exposed.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I was so angry that some nasty human had decided to shave my cat. It was very distressing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Animals Lost and Found said it wants to give owners the chance to take every precaution to keep their furry friends safe.<\/p>\n<p>The charity said that while incidents have been reported across Kent, from Northfleet down to Dover, the majority seem to be confined to Medway, and in particular Gillingham, Chatham and Rochester.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article29461575.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/2_phantom-cat-sha-976335.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article29454150.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/1_ped-boys-face-off-after-killing-his-brother-in-horror-attack.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Bloodthirsty chimpanzees ripped boy&apos;s face off after killing brother in horror attack<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Charity spokesperson Natasha McPhee said: &quot;In some areas on the map it is more dense than others.
