{"id":172654,"date":"2023-03-19T13:54:06","date_gmt":"2023-03-19T13:54:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=172654"},"modified":"2023-03-19T13:54:06","modified_gmt":"2023-03-19T13:54:06","slug":"georgia-harrison-was-fearful-after-men-said-they-had-seen-sex-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/world-news\/georgia-harrison-was-fearful-after-men-said-they-had-seen-sex-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Georgia Harrison was fearful after men said they had seen sex video"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Georgia Harrison says she was &#8216;living in fear&#8217; after &#8216;multiple men&#8217; told her they had seen revenge porn video leaked by Stephen Bear &#8211; as she calls for a change in the law and refuses to rule out a foray into politics<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Georgia, 28, was left devastated when he shared their sex tape online<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Stephen, 33, was jailed for 21 months for voyeurism and &#8216;revenge porn&#8217;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TV personality Georgia Harrison said &#8216;multiple men&#8217; told her they had seen the private sex video that her ex-partner Stephen Bear leaked as revenge porn &#8211; leaving her &#8216;living in fear&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the BBC&#8217;s Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg programme, the former Love Island star, 28, recalled being approached by people saying they had seen the footage before she discovered it had gone viral online.<\/p>\n<p>After waiving her right to lifelong anonymity, she said she is &#8216;enjoying making a difference&#8217; by speaking about her experience &#8211; and even refused to rule out a foray into politics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following Bear&#8217;s conviction, Harrison said going to court was &#8217;empowering&#8217; and that the jail sentence helped &#8216;validate&#8217; her experience. Though she now wants to see a change in the law.<\/p>\n<p>The Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 made it an offence to disclose private sexual photographs and films with the intent to cause distress and without consent. She believes the requirement to prove intent should be removed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/03\/19\/10\/68870363-11877915-image-m-24_1679223285447.jpg\" height=\"519\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Georgia Harrison says she &#8216;will always fear&#8217; she is being secretly recorded while having sex after becoming a victim of revenge porn by her ex Stephen Bear<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/03\/19\/10\/68870365-11877915-image-a-23_1679223138557.jpg\" height=\"864\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Stephen, 33, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, is serving a 21 month jail sentence for voyeurism and two counts of &#8216;revenge porn&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Before I actually saw the video had gone viral on the internet, I had multiple men telling me that they had it shown to them. So I think when I saw it was on Only Fans, it was just the final straw for me,&#8217; she said.<\/p>\n<h3>From The Only Way Is Essex to victim&#8217;s rights campaigner:<\/h3>\n<p>Georgia Harrison first appeared on TV screens during a brief stint on TOWIE in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>She gained more public attention when she\u00a0took part in the third season of Love Island at the age of 22.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She subsequently appeared on other reality TV shows such as Celebrity Ex On The Beach, War of the Worlds 2, and The Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>She met Stephen Bear while filming The Challenge and began dating in November 2018.<\/p>\n<p>They split a month later but continue an on and off again relationship.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2020, Bear filmed himself and Ms Harrison having sex in his garden via CCTV.<\/p>\n<p>Without permission, Bear uploaded the video to his OnlyFans.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Harrison said that she did not know they were being filmed.<\/p>\n<p>She took Bear to court and waived her right to lifelong anonymity.<\/p>\n<p>After his conviction she said she wants &#8216;to help other people and also to prevent it from happening&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ms Harrison added that a shorter clip of the video was posted online, leaving her terrified that Bear, who was jailed for 21 months over the crime, could sell more.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia Harrison has warned that revenge porn is much more common than some may believe &#8211; revealing at least five women messaging her every day to share their own ordeals.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My case in general has really shocked the British public, but it is such a common thing &#8211; so common.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Ever since this happened to me I became someone that victims reach out to, and I get at least five women a day &#8211; usually victims but sometimes mothers of victims or family members who want advice,&#8217; Harrison told the BBC&#8217;s Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg programme.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You just wouldn&#8217;t believe how big this is and how many people are being affected by it.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the MailOnline earlier this week, she said: &#8216;I&#8217;m so much stronger than I used to be. When I talk about things now. I don&#8217;t tear up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It is something that happened and is now in my control. If you look at me at the start of the journey I was complete and utter mess.
