<\/p>\nBrits are in for a confusing time of it weather-wise with torrential rain set to clash with balmy temperatures in the coming weeks, new weather maps show.<\/p>\n
The next fortnight is due to be pleasant for most of the nation with lows of 10C and highs of 23C, BBC weather reports.<\/p>\n
Those highs could arrive as soon as next week on June 9 and 10 but this, according to WX Charts, might not last long with wet times coming for part of the country.<\/p>\n

The northwest, north and east of the country are in the firing line for a hefty band of rain \u2013 but the south and east are looking likely to be in for a chillier time of it.<\/p>\n

Temperatures could rise as high as 24.2C in Porthmadog, Gwynedd, but in North Yorkshire, it could be as low as 10.3C creating what the Met Office has described as a clear east-west split.<\/p>\n
Met Office meteorologist Craig Snell said: "Out towards the west, just like recent days, feeling pleasantly warm in the sunshine. But do watch out. The sun is quite strong.<\/p>\n
"It's probably the strongest this gets really across the UK, could even see very high levels of UV in the south. So if you are out and about, planning a trip to the beach, do take some sensible precautions and slap on the sun cream."<\/p>\n

The east is expected to be in for a brighter tomorrow (June 3) compared to the recent weather.<\/p>\n
Pollen levels are set to be high in the south of the country, while in the north they are set to be lower.<\/p>\n
The Met Office\u2019s predictions for June 6 to June 15 read: "Eastern and northern areas are likely to see more cloud than the west, especially in coastal areas exposed to onshore winds. It will likely feel warm to rather warm across western areas, though cooler in the east when under cloud.<\/p>\n

"There is a chance of isolated showers, mostly over high ground, in the early part of the period, with a small, but increasing, risk of rain or showers, perhaps thundery, over parts of southern and south-eastern England and Wales as the period progresses.<\/p>\n
"Winds are likely to be light for most, though stronger in the south of England, and in coastal areas near the English Channel."<\/p>\n
As June progresses the weather is expected to become unsettled with thundery showers in the southeast.<\/p>\n
