Those aged 35 to 44 were the most likely.<\/p>\n<p>The survey by Mobile Phones Direct also that one in ten people even risked taking their mobile phone into the shower &#8211; rising to a quarter for those in Generation Z.<\/p>\n<p>It comes a week a YouGov poll looked at the use of phones on the toilets across the world. China found to have the highest number doing so by quite some margin, with 62 per cent saying they looked at their phone fairly or very often.
