AN INNOVATIVE couple have bought a tractor trailer and turned it into a stunning tiny home.

A recent video showed how they transformed the old vehicle into a "slice of paradise" in France.

P.H and Bea embarked in the challenging project after deciding to change their lives and become more "environmentally conscious".

On the video posted on YouTube, the cottage appeared sitting on a spectacular 100 hectare of organic farm.

The couple showed off their DIY home and claimed to be made of natural materials.

Farmer P.H. said: "We had a lot of the materials and the place to build it, so we just went for it.

"We tried to have it as natural as possible with as many reclaimed local materials as we could. Just in line with our life values."

The tiny house is only eight metres long and five metres wide.

But despite its reduced size, it boasts tall walls and a wide living room with a huge piano.

The creative duo took the ceilings from an old church, a 300-year-old floor from a tail factory.

</picture>

</picture>

</picture>

</picture>

Bea, who works as an English teacher, said: "We wanted the look of the house to blend in with the environment, so we choose wood and iron which lasts a longer.

"It had to be beautiful and functional."

P.H added plenty of extensions to the kitchen – including a draw for the compost, a pull-out pantry and a stove used as a cooker.

Upstairs, the house boasts a toilet and a huge double bedroom with a window looking towards the sky.

But the most impressive part of the little home is outside.

The dream house has an incredible garden with breathtaking views to a lake in the French mountains.

P.H. said "It is very nice to wake up every morning with a view of the lake.

"It feels as if you are living outside not inside."

However, the proud homeowners claimed to live without a fridge.

The creative couple said that the garden outside their home provides food that is so fresh they don't need to store it.

"The best part about living in our house is the space we left for our garden.

"We grow most of the food we eat all year long," Bea explained.

P.H. also built a small wooden house to host parties for their family and friends.

Bea added: "We wanted to be close to nature, have a good community, eating well and recreate that in our way of life."

It comes as a man with zero construction and DIY project experience revealed how he managed to build a teeny home on wheels, spending just £6k in the process.

Major card chain to close 38 branches in bid to avoid collapse in fresh blow
