F***.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/04\/16\/75046323-12479399-image-a-7_1693841980570.jpg\" height=\"680\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>One social media user shared a picture of\u00a0British voter Gillian Duffy, who Gordon Brown famously called a &#8216;bigoted woman&#8217;, after Gillian Keegan&#8217;s gaffe<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/04\/16\/75046329-12479399-image-a-9_1693842044136.jpg\" height=\"757\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Another social media user wrote: &#8216;Is that OFCOM? I wish to log a complaint about Education Secretary Gillian Keegan. I can cope with the swearing but telling everyone she\u2019s doing a good job is a step too far\u2026&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>And Gordon Brown&#8217;s infamous hot mic gaffe where he called British voter Gillian Duffy a &#8216;bigoted woman&#8217; was harped back to in one tweet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A picture of Ms Duffy was captioned: &#8216;Bad luck Gillian (not that one).&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Others likened the gaffe to a scene out of The Thick Of It, with one tweet saying: &#8216;&#8221;Does anyone ever say: You know what, you&#8217;ve done a f****** good job because everyone else is sat on their arse and done nothing.&#8221;\u00a0Who said it: Gillian Keegan or Nicola Murray?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While another person shared a picture of the character Nicola, where she says: &#8216;Get me some ketamine, I want to separate my mind from my body. I can cope with the swearing but telling everyone she\u2019s doing a good job is a step too far\u2026&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The minister&#8217;s comments came at the conclusion of an interview with ITV&#8217;s Daniel Hewitt in which she said he had been &#8216;pressing me quite hard&#8217; and claimed he was &#8216;making out it was all my fault&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In her apology, the Education Secretary refused to say who she believed was &#8216;sat on their arse&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Keegan said: &#8216;I wasn&#8217;t really talking about anyone in particular.
