{"id":182679,"date":"2023-10-18T15:39:47","date_gmt":"2023-10-18T15:39:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=182679"},"modified":"2023-10-18T15:39:47","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T15:39:47","slug":"ethereum-based-altcoins-price-plummets-60-after-a-massive-290-rally-in-one-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/altcoins\/ethereum-based-altcoins-price-plummets-60-after-a-massive-290-rally-in-one-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Ethereum-Based Altcoin\u2019s Price Plummets 60% After a Massive 290% Rally in One Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The price of Ethereum-based altcoin project Loom Network ($LOOM) has fallen nearly 60% from a peak of $0.41 seen earlier this month after the cryptocurrency\u2019s price rallied over 290% over a 30-day period, partly over a listing on a popular cryptocurrency exchange.<\/p>\n<p>According to available data the price of Loom Network\u2019s native token LOOM was around $0.038 back in August, but surged to a $0.41 high this month after it started rallying, but has since fallen to currently trade at $0.168.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.cryptoglobe.com\/2023\/10\/LOOMUSDT_2023-10-18_12-04-42-1280x455.png\"><\/p>\n<p>The cryptocurrency\u2019s price started rallying after it received a liquidity boost from a recent\u00a0listing\u00a0at cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io, which regular sees 24-hour trading volumes above the $500 million mark, making it a major cryptocurrency trading platform.<\/p>\n<p>In the listing, the exchange described LOOM as a \u201cmultichain interoperability platform \u2014 live in production \u2014 that\u2019s connected to other major blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Tron.\u201d Multichain interoperability essentials means that data and information can be transferred between the blockchains it supports seamlessly.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0Coinbase, Loom Network is optimized to scale high-performance decentralized applications (DApps) that require a quick and smooth user experience.
