{"id":183437,"date":"2023-11-08T23:09:12","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T23:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=183437"},"modified":"2023-11-08T23:09:12","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T23:09:12","slug":"organiser-of-remembrance-day-protest-worked-for-keir-starmer-until-days-ago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/politics\/organiser-of-remembrance-day-protest-worked-for-keir-starmer-until-days-ago\/","title":{"rendered":"Organiser of  Remembrance Day protest worked for Keir Starmer until days ago"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Minister on pro-Palestine march on Remembrance weekend<\/h3>\n<p>An organiser of the planned pro-Palestine protest on Armistice Day worked for Sir Keir Starmer until just days ago, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Soffa is listed as the secretary of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign which has led marches in London for the last four Saturdays.<\/p>\n<p>But until earlier this week he also worked for the Labour Party as head of digital organising.<\/p>\n<p>Labour sources told The Sun that Mr Soffa had moved on in recent days.<\/p>\n<p>A Labour source said: &#8220;We&#8217;re grateful to Ben for all his work for the party and wish him all the best for the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/139\/590x\/secondary\/Sir-Keir-Starmer-5056573.jpg?r=1699483487238\"><\/p>\n<p>Tory chairman Greg Hands said: &#8220;Shocking hypocrisy from Sir Keir Starmer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sir Keir urged Labour MPs not to attend pro-Palestinian marches.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Meanwhile, the man planning the pro-Palestine march on Armistice Day was working for Sir Keir in Labour HQ!
