{"id":184208,"date":"2023-11-29T14:08:57","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T14:08:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/?p=184208"},"modified":"2023-11-29T14:08:57","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T14:08:57","slug":"james-cleverly-makes-pinocchio-gesture-at-keir-starmer-after-pmqs-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/precoinnews.com\/politics\/james-cleverly-makes-pinocchio-gesture-at-keir-starmer-after-pmqs-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"James Cleverly makes Pinocchio gesture at Keir Starmer after PMQs attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>PMQs: James Cleverly appears to gesture at Keir Starmer<\/h3>\n<p>James Cleverly made a Pinocchio gesture at Sir Keir Starmer after an attack during a fiery PMQs.<\/p>\n<p>The Labour leader brought up accusations the Home Secretary called Labour MP Alex Cunningham&#8217;s Stockton North constituency a &#8220;s***hole&#8221; in a heated Commons moment last week as he hit out at Rishi Sunak over immigration.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Cleverly, who admitted he called Mr Cunningham a &#8220;s*** MP&#8221; but denied insulting the northern town, responded by pointing to Sir Keir and then signalling a long nose.<\/p>\n<p>The gesture came after the Labour leader said: &#8220;There&#8217;s only one party that&#8217;s lost control of the borders and they&#8217;re sitting right there.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is a government not just in turmoil, in open revolt. The immigration minister thinks the Prime Minister is failing because apparently, nobody will listen to his secret plan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The former home secretary thinks he&#8217;s failing because of his magical thinking.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The current Home Secretary thinks he&#8217;s failing.
