No receipt is required&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It added: Tesco apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused. If you require further details, please contact Customer Services directly.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/13\/20\/78929383-12860915-image-a-15_1702497779691.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tesco has recalled a Christmas dinner staple over the &#8216;possible presence of moths&#8217;, causing chaos for shoppers over the festive period<\/p>\n<p>The Food Standard Agency (FSA) also issued a notice of the recall, explaining that the a particular batch of the supermarket stuffing was contaminated by a &#8216;foreign body&#8217;, which has been identified to be the &#8216;presence of insects (moths)&#8217;, deeming the festive side dish &#8216;unsafe to eat&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The stuffing mix with toasted ciabatta style breadcrumbs, advertised to be &#8216;made with extra virgin olive oil, croutons, dried sweetened cranberries and dried apples,&#8217; will have a best before date of September 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The mixture has received an overall 3.6 star rating for quality by Tesco customers, with some describing it as &#8216;sludgy and tasteless&#8217;, and others applauding the \u00a32 box of stuffing for its &#8216;lovely aroma&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The FSA\u00a0<span>issues product withdrawal Information notices and product recall information notices to let consumers and local authorities know about problems associated with food.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In some cases, a &#8216;Food Alert for Action&#8217; is issued.
