A couple in a supermarket car park were interrupted "in the act" when police swooped in to arrest them.
The unnamed man and woman were cosying up in the Sainsbury’s car park in Fallowfield, Manchester, yesterday (October 19) until officers from Greater Manchester Police intervened.
The force confirmed that both were arrested and taken into police custody. They have since been issued with a police caution for outraging public decency.

Manchester Evening News reports the offence of outraging public decency is defined as when someone does something lewd, obscene or disgusting in nature in a public place or a place accessible to, or within view of, the public.
A short post shared by GMP Fallowfield about the incident said: "Two Police Cautioned! A male and female have been caught in the act in Sainsbury's car park today.
"Both were arrested and issued with a police caution for outraging public decency."
It comes after a randy couple attempted to have discreet bonk in an office but were exposed to the street below by their silhouettes. One bystander who copped an eyeful outside the headquarters of the Central Wholesale Market in Medellin, Colombia, filmed the pair in action on their phone and dubbed it "porn in the office toilet".
The clip, which lasts for about 20 seconds, captures another passer-by pointing to the window after noticing the couple's steamy silhouette through the glass.
According to local reports, the randy couple tried to be discreet by locking themselves in one of the office toilets. However, they were seemingly unaware that their romp would be clearly visible through the glass.
