BORED Brits enjoyed more sexual fantasies in lockdown, a poll found.
More than a third admitted having dirtier thoughts.
And women were more likely than men to lust after love.
Experts say stress, boredom and a lack of sex combined to crank up carnal desires.
Most frequent fantasies included outdoor fumbles, rough sex and cheating on partners.
The study, in the journal Sexual Medicine, quizzed 565 Brits aged 18 to 32 about their sex lives during Covid lockdowns.
Results show 34.3 per cent had more fantasies.
For women it was 55.2 per cent and 44.8 per cent for men.
More than a quarter said being stuck inside made desires more “intense”.
Dr Liam Wignall, senior lecturer in psychology at Bournemouth University, said ministers needed to clarify rules around casual sex in the pandemic.
He said: “There could, for example, be guidance about particular activities and positions that may be safer, such as having sex doggy-style or not kissing sexual partners.
“If people are having casual sex, they should keep details for a two-week period and agree that if either of them experience Covid symptoms, they will inform the other person.”
