In December of 2021, Indiana police officials believed to have made a slight connection to the murders, although they don't suspect the person of interest is the murderer.
A fraudulent profile with the handle @anthony_shots was used to contact many underage girls in the state of Indiana.
In August 2020, the perpetrator of the profile was identified as Kegan Anthony Kline of Peru, Indiana.
Indiana police officials have told the public that although Kline is behind the fake social media account, Indiana law enforcement have not named Kline a suspect in the slayings of Abby Williams and Libby German.
Police have asked anyone with information on the profile to contact them at [email protected] or 765-822-3535.
