A church has gone viral on Facebook after posting a sign which may have been well-intentioned but has a raunchy undertone.
The sign was posted outside the church building to encourage passers-by to come in and attend a service, and perhaps accept Christianity full-time while they were there.
Unfortunately, the wording gave the impression of receiving something slightly more worldly than the Holy Spirit.
Whether the effect was intentional or the signs authors were in blissful ignorance of their double entendre is not clear, but the sign's wording sends mixed signals.
Posted outside the church, the sign read: "The fastest way to get back on your feet is to get down on your knees."
The image was posted to Facebook by Alex Hutchinson, who remarked: "The Church marketing team strikes again."
Churches with unintentionally sensuous messaging have become a hit on the internet, with several videos being posted to TikTok documenting them.
Some signs from the US include: "You can't enter heaven unless Jesus enters you", "The most powerful position is on your knees", and "The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost: the original 3way".

TikTok user @queenoftheheathens took things to another level, posting videos entirely dedicated to church signs with unfortunate wording.
Introducing it as "church signs that are not rude or suggestive in any way", she reads off some of the absolutely not suggestive signs that her followers have sent her.
Among these are "The Lord is and will come. Has he came in you?"

Another quote directly from Psalms, saying: "In your right hand there are pleasures forever, PS 16:11", which having checked is indeed what the Bible says. Do with that what you will.
One sign is a little more direct, and slightly unsettling, informing readers that "Jesus is touching you.", to which @queenoftheheathens replies: "Please stop, Jesus."
The signs also warn sinners of the consequences of straying from the path of righteousness, warning: "Eat the Devil's corn, you will choke on his cob".
This seems counterproductive as those of a more sinful disposition might simply take this as being threatened with a good time.
