Evil Chay Bowskill, who kidnapped girlfriend Angel Lynn, was also a member of a gang who stole 51 high performance luxury vehicles, it has emerged.
Besides his horrifying behaviour against the now 21-year-old Angel – who has been left with life-changing injuries due to brain damage sustained from the attack -Bowskill, of Syston, and five others would break into victims' homes while they slept to nick the keys of their luxury cars.
The gang reportedly burgled 41 homes in Loughborough, Leicester, targeting homes in towns and villages across the county and wider region.
The vehicles they stole including upmarket SUVs, an £80,000 Audi SQ7, a £75,000 Mercedes C63s as well as BMWs, a Range Rover and VWs, all of worth a total of a staggering £1,153,500.
Members of the gang – including Bowskill- have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglaries, which took place between June and October, 2019.
Bowskill had already been convicted by a jury in January for kidnapping Angel in 2020 as well as for 'coercive and controlling behaviour' towards her.
Originally sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail for his ruthless attack on his then-girlfriend, Bowskill's sentence was referred to London's High Court for an 'unduly lenient' review. –
The sentence was increased to 12 years and three months, with the expectation that he serves two-thirds, or eight years, of that term.
However, the Leicester Crown Court, has now handed him an additional four years for the burglary conspiracy, meaning he'll have to serve at least 10 years before being eligible for release on licence.
Others involved in the gang were Barry Kew Moss, 22, Travis Hindmarsh,19, Oliver Thomas Read, 25, Aurel Sadiki, 24, all of whom have fixed addresses, as well as 18-year-old Josh Healy, of Laurel Close, Mountsorrel.

Christopher Jeyes, prosecuting, said : "The burglaries were of occupied homes, some with elderly residents and some with children. Many of the occupants woke up to find doors and windows had been entered and vehicles were missing from outside," adding that some of the stolen vehicles were "used in subsequent offences."
Robin Howat, mitigating for Bowskill said that had "unguided childhood" and went "badly off the rails." He added: "He's already had a crushing blow [from the Appeal Court] and a concurrent sentence wouldn't make him lose hope."
The fact that some members of the gang were minors – Healy was 15 and Hindmarsh was 16 – at the time of the crimes have been taken into account when sentencing was done, Recorder Michael Auty QC said.
Healy and Hindmarsh,were each sentenced to four years detention, while Kew Moss – who was 20 at the time- was jailed for six years and three months. Read and Sadiki are due to appear in court for sentencing at a later date.
