A former socialite turned into a blubbering mess in court as the shame of her drug habit was exposed.
Alexandra Moss, from Rose Bay, Sydney, Australia was arrested in April 2021 and charged with supplying multiple drugs after police found dozens of incriminating messages and selfies with bags of cannabis, piles of cocaine and cartons of GBL on her phone.
According to documents revealed in court, police claimed Moss came into the possession of a 25-litre container of GBL and began dealing drugs from December 2020 to April 2021.
During this time she took photos posing with the large blue tub of the illicit liquid, with police also finding photos of her and another male “decanting” it into individual bottles.
She also had multiple text message conversations about the price of the substances and claimed customers paid about “3,000 out of pocket”.
In one of the messages, Moss claimed the liquid was so toxic it was “going to burn holes in the plastic and carpet” and she had "filled" her bathtub with it.
A friend had tried to warn her about her heavy involvement with GBL but the socialite seemed to be unbothered about it as she said "it’s only 29 years" in jail.
Police raided the 27-year-old's home on April 15, 2021, and found a glass bottle and pump, as well as 9641.5g of 1,4-Butanediol in the cabinet above her kitchen sink.

An envelope containing six bags of white powder was labelled 'powdery batch $250/300 (£144/173) each,' 4.86g of MDMA in a resealable bag in a plastic container above her stove and 130g of cannabis, and a $1200 (£686.78) in a large envelope were also recovered.
