A Brazilian bloke has booked himself a ticket to the hospital after he tried to perform cosmetic nose surgery, on himself.
The shocking decision left him needing emergency treatment on July 21.
The man was admitted to a hospital in the Campo Limpo region, in the South Zone of São Paulo, where doctors found that he had performed a botched attempt at rhinoplasty on his own face.

As reported by G1, doctors have warned that efforts to alter the nose using DIY methods are more than likely going to leave you looking worse and could lead to serious complications.
Some of the risks associated with “home rhinoplasty” include necrosis, infections, nasal obstruction and anaphylactic shock.
The man, who remains unidentified by the hospital he was admitted to, is said to have used easily accessible online video tutorials to carry out the work.
It was also reported that he used 70% alcohol to clean the cuts, didn’t wear gloves and didn’t clean off blood afterwards "so as not to open the stitches".

He was taken to the Campo Limpo Emergency Care Unit and is understood to have been let out of care the same day.
Videos instructing “home rhinoplasty” have become increasingly common online and can include footage from surgeries.
A plastic surgeon specialising in rhinoplasty and a member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, Rodrigo Lacerda, told G1: “There is a risk of necrosis, a risk of infection for having done it without asepsis and for using non-sterile material, and a risk of very large nasal obstruction. The incisions made in a rhinoplasty need to be very precise, in well-defined places to avoid this risk.
"These procedures will only worsen the appearance because they are not effective, they will only bring risks. You cannot do this without knowing the nasal anatomy, which is very complex."
