As the Queen's coffin is prepared for four days of lying in state, royal fans have expressed concern for Harry and William as "triggering" memories of their mother's death come back to haunt them.
The princes stood with their father, King Charles III, as the three walked behind the Queen's coffin as Her Majesty's funeral procession began today at 2.22pm today (September 14) from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall at the Houses of Parliament.
The procession saw the 96-year-old monarch's coffin stop off in a number of important seats of power and history in the UK before making this most recent journey.

But royal fans didn't only have eyes on the coffin as they shared their concern for the Queen's grandsons, Harry and William, who had to go through a similarly upsetting ritual when their mother, Princess Diana, died just over 25 years ago.
Taking to Twitter, one said: "William and Harry will be [the] only generation ever to do this walk three times. Poor souls."
Another chimed in: "Poor William and Harry – this must give them flashbacks of when they were wrongly IMO made to walk behind their late mothers coffin"
Meanwhile a third added: "Poor Prince Harry and poor William. What memories this must be bringing back for them. Heartbreaking to watch," while a fourth simply said: "Poor William and Harry. This must be triggering for them."
Why Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will be wearing veils at the Queen's funeral
If any good has come from the traumatic experience, it's that the brothers seem to have put their differences aside – at least for now.
The pair, along with their wives – who travelled separately in the Queen's procession – paid a visit to Windsor Palace together late last week to view tributes laid there to their late grandmother and to greet mourning crowds who had gathered.

It's reported that the newly-appointed Prince of Wales invited the Sussexes to join him and his wife to join them at Windsor as an olive branch, much to the delight of fans and commentators alike.
Royal expert Jennie Bond said of the brothers' relationship: “[The walkabout] marked a significant turning point.
"The four of them can at least put on a show of unity when it is needed, they can act with decorum and dignity.
"There is a long way to go. But their grandmother would surely be relieved and proud."
