A horror crash that saw a bus roll 50m down a hill has seen all 27 students onboard from an exclusive girls school rushed to hospital.
One teenage girl has been described as being in a serious but stable condition and the driver of the truck that the bus smashed into on an Australian motorway is known to have sustained serious injuries.
The terrifying collision happened as the bus, which was also carrying five adults including the driver, hit the truck and careered off the road near the Condons Lane intersection in Bacchus Marsh just outside Melbourne at 3.15am local time (6.15pm UK time) on Wednesday morning (September 21) local time.

Due to the distressing scenes, parents of the students from Loreto College Ballarat were told by police not to visit the crash site and instead call Ballarat Police Station on 03 5336 6000 for more information.
Their daughters had been looking forward to a once-in-a-lifetime school trip, with the bus heading for Melbourne airport, from where the party would have then flown to the USA to visit the Nasa space camp at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.
Everybody involved in the crash was taken to hospital for observation with harrowing pictures showing suitcases strewn across the hill as emergency services also worked hard to clear debris from the road.

Meetings, arranged by the headteacher, were held with frantic parents at Loreto College, who later posted the following message on their Facebook page: "Everyone is fine. We had injuries but there are no fatalities."
Melbourne-bound roads remained closed in the area while cops started their investigations into the crash, with witnesses or those with dashcam footage of the incident urged to contact Crimestoppers.
